Who would ever though that Spanish would have become a compulsory subject in the primary schools all across Guyana? At least not me, well I learn that the week of my orientation at Cyril Potter College. I had no clue about Spanish really and I never really try to learn the language. Without joke or fun, Mr. Wilburg got me very scared with her tone of voice when she explains the Spanish program to us at orientation. At that time I had to remind myself that anything worth having is worth working hard for.
As time passes, we cover different topic in Spanish, such as Time, Greetings, Family, and Weather and so on. Some of the classes were fun at time but my biggest problem was the internet and keeping up to date with Ms. Wilburg scheme of work. I do like how it is plan out online but there are too many pages that one will have to visit to keep up with. Ms. Wilburg teaching style is wonderful (the use of the computer) it help to enhance some students computer skills especially the students from the innter land.
Over all my spanish experience was great.

HARDTIMES!!!!!

Okay we understand that nothing comes easy the old folks say.
While working on some of Ms. Wilburg assignment there was fun time and then there was the times when some of us can hardly keep our eyes open in class.
